If you didn’t know, Aircraft Handlers who worked on the flight deck were known as Roof Rats, while those who worked in the hangar were Hangar Rats, mainly on carriers.
Created for former members of HMS Ark Royal’s ship’s company, their families and anyone with a connection to the ship.
